STUDIES FOR ALL AGES

CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
Children who are nursery-aged and older attend nursery or Sunday School every Sunday at 9:15 a.m. They hear and experience scripture in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. St. Thomas Church provides a safe and fun place for children and teens to make friends and experience worship, encouragement, and service to others. Additionally, every summer, the children of St. Thomas invite their friends to join them for Vacation Bible School and Summer Camp.
ADULT BIBLE AND BOOK STUDIES
LENTEN AND ADVENT STUDIES AND SUPPERS
During Lent and Advent, you are invited to prepare for Easter and Christmas through Wednesday evening studies and suppers in the Parish Hall.
WHAT EPISCOPALIANS BELIEVE
Father Bob leads this popular four-week course on Sunday mornings a couple of times yearly. Everyone is invited to this refresher course on Episcopal history and beliefs.
THE WIRED WORD
We meet every month on the second Saturday at 10 a.m. Classes are thought-provoking and spiritually enriching, helping to deepen our relationship with God. We talk about how the Bible is alive today by relating it to news events happening here and now. Contacts are Jodie Bevel and Don Maurizio.
JEWISH/CHRISTIAN BIBLE STUDY
September through May, Father Bob Goolsby and Rabbi Merrill Shapiro lead a fascinating study of the Bible at St. Thomas on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. in room 104. Members of St. Thomas gather with Jewish friends for an in-depth study of Hebrew and Christian Scriptures. Rabbi Shapiro leads the study of Old Testament texts, and Father Bob discusses the upcoming Sunday's scripture readings. Rabbi Shapiro also shares insight into the ancient Jewish traditions that shaped the Christian texts. If you would like to participate via ZOOM invitation, contact the church office.
OTHER ADULT STUDIES
Throughout the year, Christian Book and Bible Studies are offered on Sunday mornings.
