Confirmation Classes begin on Sunday, February 2 at 10:10 a.m. in Classroom 104 in preparation for our Bishop’s Visitation in April. Confirmation Class is a course of study designed to prepare individuals for the sacrament of Confirmation, where they publicly affirm their baptismal vows, by providing a deep dive into the core beliefs and practices of the Episcopal Church, including the Bible, Church history, the Book of Common Prayer, sacraments, and ethical living, with a focus on understanding what it means to live as a committed Christian within the Episcopal tradition; this class typically involves discussions, reflection, and personal exploration led by Father Bob Goolsby. Come to be Confirmed by the bishop on Easter Day, or come and enjoy a refresher on our faith.
