Building Our Future Together
Building Our Future Together is a campaign title chosen intentionally to honor our shared life at St. Thomas. These words were carefully selected to call us to action, focus our hearts on the future, and celebrate the strength of our community.
We worship together. We pray together. We celebrate together. And now, we will build our future...together.
Why Now?
St. Thomas embarked on a successful capital campaign twenty years ago to build our current church building. Throughout the twenty years since, our church buildings have served us very well. Now, improvements and repairs are needed to meet our current and future needs.
Our Parish Hall needs significant upgrades. It is the hub of our community. While we gather around the altar to be nourished by our Lord, we gather in the Parish Hall to sustain relationships and create new ones.
Standing on the shoulders of those who came before, it is time to provide a church where future generations can Discover True Community. Our goal is to raise $900,000 over two years and begin construction by mid-2026.
Building our Future Together will address significant needs by:
- Renewing our Parish Hall, including modern acoustics, aesthetics, food service area, and a north parking lot entrance.
- Enhancing Classroom and Meeting Spaces. Our current library and large classroom will be reconfigured to create modern and functional education and conference spaces.
- Creating an Outdoor Gathering Space with a Playground between the north parking lot and the new Parish Hall entrance.
- Establishing a Maintenance Fund to ensure faithful care of the House of God for years to come.
